Training

At 3D-lipo Ltd we believe that our knowledge is your power. Included with the purchase of every 3D machine is a comprehensive training course that covers the tried and tested protocols developed by the training department, following extensive research into the treatments and technologies.

What does the training include?

As an overview, our training courses include the following:

  • 1-4 days long depending on the machine
  • Theory behind the technologies
  • Practical afternoon of carrying out treatments
  • Gain experience on treating real clients
  • Varying qualifications required to attend
  • Maximum of 10 therapists per course to ensure a high quality of learning
  • Lunch included courtesy of 3D-lipo Ltd

The length of our training courses varies from 1-4 days (10am-4.30pm) depending on the number of elements that need covering. This ensures therapists leave with a full understanding and confidence within the machine and its technologies.

Each course starts with a morning of theory work. This is where practitioners will learn about the technologies on their machine including:

  • The theory behind each technology
  • The consultation process Contra-indications and medications
  • 3D approved treatment protocols
  • Different client types and how to treat them
  • Advice on packaging treatments (on our multi-technology devices)

After a lunch break, therapists will put the morning’s knowledge into practice and will carry out a full treatment on either fellow therapists or models brought in by 3D-lipo Ltd.

The trainer running the course will assess the understanding of each therapist to ensure that they are confident in going back to their clinic to perform these treatments safely and effectively. If the trainer is confident in the therapist, a certificate will be issued.

Training Requirements

Each training course is hosted at our Training Facility in Rugby, Warwickshire and therapists do require certain qualifications to attend.

For training on any of our face and body machines such as the 3D-lipo Ultimatepro or 3D-HydrO2, it is necessary for therapists to have a Level 2 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) but it is preferred if they are already working towards their Level 3 qualification.

Training on any of our laser devices including the 3D-Trilogyice, 3D-Nanosure and 3D-Lasersculpt requires a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent). A Level 3 qualification is also required to attend 3D-HIFU training.

Advanced Training Days

As well as our machine training days, we also host a number of advanced training days throughout the course of a year. These include Core of Knowledge training for those looking to expand on their laser safety knowledge and also a Skincare Workshop for therapists looking to learn more about layering skincare products, the ingredients and how to provide clients with prescriptive skincare regimes.

Further information on these advanced training days can be found on our Specialist Events page.
