Our journey started with humble beginnings in 1989 when our Founder and Managing Director, Roy Cowley, launched his first business, a beauty clinic. Fast forward over 30 years, and our company, 3D Aesthetics is now one of the leading brands across the Beauty and Aesthetics industries for pioneering in the field of advanced non-surgical technology.

Our Founder and Managing Director Roy Cowley started out in business, launching his own beauty salon, in his hometown of Leamington Spa.
Roy Developed a passion for the industry and ventured into distribution. He ran a successful distribution company, and launched a number of high profile brands into the UK such Crystal Clear, i-lipo, and Bio-Therapeutic.
Roy established a gap in the market for a multi-functional device to treat fat reduction, cellulite and skin tightening, after having become frustrated at the lack of results achieved by technologies currently available on the market.
3D-lipo Ltd was born, with the aim of developing effective multi-platform, non-surgical devices for the face and body at an affordable cost to clients, that would allow clinics to offer a prescriptive ‘three dimensional’ approach to achieve best patient outcomes.
The 3D-lipo + machine was launched, the first machine that Roy developed for treating, inch-loss, cellulite & skin tightening.
Following the success of 3D-lipo, Roy launched the company’s first facial device, the 3D-skintech after recognising the need for a prescriptive, result driven, technology based facial.
Dr Martyn King carried out clinical trials for 3D-lipo. Dr Martyn King is a GMC registered doctor and is a recognised expert in the field of cosmetic medicine.
Celebrity Amy Childs launched 3D-lipo in her Essex salon at the height of her fame following TOWIE, putting the treatment in the media spotlight.
We launched the 3D-lipomed, a device that could offer a ‘duo’ cryolipolysis function, allowing patients to have 2 areas treated simultaneously.
Following her win on ‘The Apprentice’ Dr Leah Totton and Lord Sugar launched the 3D-lipomed in ‘Dr Leah Clinic’s’ causing a media frenzy. Being associated with Lord Sugar added huge credibility to our brand.
3D-lipo came up top in a review of body contouring treatments and was voted 9/10 for ‘best cellulite treatment’ by OK! Magazine, with tester, Nicola Agius losing 10 inches from all over her body!
Dr Paul Banwell FRCS (Plast) took on the 3D-lipomed machine in his clinic as a ‘non-surgical’ alternative to surgery. Dr Banwell is one of the UK’s most well-known and respected plastic surgeons.
The 3D-skintech was scouted at a Beauty Exhibition by the production team for hit soap ‘Emmerdale’ and the treatment featured on the television programme as a facial offered in Bernice’s Salon, exposing the treatment to millions of viewers on prime time television.
Ahead of her entrance into the Big Brother House in 2015, Actress Patsy Kensit revealed that she had been having 3D-lipo treatments, causing a surge in demand for treatment nationwide.
We launched ‘3D-Professional Solutions’ skincare range. Result driven skincare for clinics to use to compliment their 3D-skintech treatments.
3D-lipo was commended in the UK Aesthetics Awards for ‘Treatment of the Year’ achieving credible recognition across the industry.
Our Founder and Managing Director, Roy Cowley, was named as one of the industry’s ‘Top 50 Industry Influencers’ in Professional Beauty Magazine.
We launched the 3D-skinmed facial. US Star and Kim Kardashian’s best friend Jonathan Cheban flew in from the US to try this new celebrity ‘No-Knife’ facial, and also visited our stand at the Professional Beauty Exhibition, causing a media frenzy with hundreds of paparazzi in attendance.
We launched the ‘Dying to be Beautiful’ campaign with celebrities Amy Child’s and Danielle Mason to raise awareness of the dangers of surgeries and the need for non-surgical alternatives. This campaign received extensive coverage in the National Press, and demand for treatment soared across the UK.
Reality Star Chloe Goodman took on 3D-lipo in her Essex Salon ‘Opiah Cosmetics’ again, putting the treatment in the media spotlight.
3D Aesthetics was commended for ‘Equipment Supplier of the Year’ at the 2016 UK Aesthetics Awards.
The 3D-ultimate machine was launched, dubbed the ‘ultimate non-surgical face & body device’. We had to cancel the launch event due to unprecedented pre-orders for this machine.

We launched our flagship UK clinic, dedicated to offering 3D face and body treatments, in the same premises that Roy opened his first beauty salon in 1989.

Youtube sensation ‘The Singing Dentist’ visited our Flagship Clinic for the 3D HydrO2 facial treatment, where he vlogged the treatment process sharing his experience to hundreds of thousands via his YouTube channel.
Our head office facilities had a huge extension, compromising of 2 brand new state-of-the-art training centres, a boardroom, online showroom & demo facilities, and all new marketing suite using pioneering technology to host non-contact online training. This facility alone caters for up to 100 additional guests on training.
We adapted our business and moved all training to online, hosted by our team of trainers at Head Office. This allowed us to cater for higher demand for training, and includes additional benefits including reduced carbon footprint, cost saving for clinics, and removing geographical boundaries.
Previously known as 3D-lipo Ltd, we re-branded to ‘3D- Aesthetics’, completely over-hauling the company image, to better encompass the complete offering from the business.
We launched the 3D Smart Buy Scheme, making our product range more accessible to clinics, by introducing the incentive of up to 40% off equipment packages, plus pay just £50 for the first 6 months.
World renowned spa group, Champney’s, took on the 3D-lipo ultimatepro machines across two of their sites to expand their treatment offering. It gives us great pride to be associated with the prestigious spa chain.
